Canine teeth?

My dog has 2 canine teeth on one side of the top jaw. One is normal size and the extra tooth is touching it but its smaller.

Canine teeth?
its his deciduous tooth (baby tooth) if he%26#039;s over 7 months he need to get it removed under anesthesia.
Reply:That is fine as long as he/she can eat normally. If not, take him/her to the vet.
Reply:Some dogs don%26#039;t lose their canine baby teeth when the adult ones come in. My dog retained both his bottom baby canines and the vet just pulled them when I took him in to be neutered.

Canine teeth?

I have braces and have two canine teeth. They extract two of my teeth and kept my canines. I just previously looked in the mirror and the canine on the right seems significantly smaller and flat rather than %26quot;pointy%26quot; as i remembered it being before. Is that normal? or did i chip it? because it doesn%26#039;t hurt at all and i don%26#039;t recall chipping it.

I suppose it is possible that you chipped it... address the problem with your orthodontist at your next visit.

Eventually he/she will probably be doing some artistic shaping to even out any of these differences, etc.
Reply:I doubt there is anything wrong. Probably your attention has been drawn to your asymmetry (everyone has a lot) due t the procedures being done.

Canine teeth???

Hi, I was wondering how you could possibly tell if your canine teeth is growing or if it%26#039;s just a pre-molar or something? I mean, cuz I have %26quot;large%26quot; teeth (not exactly LONG but just a bit large) so I dunno if it%26#039;s a canine or a hugey gigantic premolar O.O. I think it%26#039;s a canine otherwise I%26#039;ve never seen such a big premolar but I just wanted to make sure! ^_^ Does anyone know a website to picture of permanent teeth so I can see what it%26#039;s supposed to look like? Thanks!

The canine grows into the corner of the jaw arch right next to the last of the 4 front teeth (incisors) . It is conical in shape and has only one cusp or projection making up its crown ,the bicuspid would have two cusps with a depression or crevice in between.
